This TV ad by DGWB - Los Angeles, utilizing classic footage from the Bonneville Salt Flats, digitally replaced the rocket-car with a Toshiba printer. Jon gave it a comedic, 1950's newsreel announcer read to make the commercial appear even more authentic!

As the announcer voice for some of the SpongeBob Squarepants projects, Jon also provides voiceover for a few of the SpongeBob products TV spots.

For more than 20 years, Jon has been the voice of XETV, Channel 6 TV in San Diego. First as a FOX affiliate, now the home of the CW.

about Jon

Jon's voice work dates back to the start of his radio career in 1975. He started out as a TOP 40 radio DJ in North Carolina and quickly realized that he could do amazing things with his voice. Jon's unique vocal talent and technical skills soon had him seeing America on the "radio plan". He was hired on as morning show host, or production director for radio stations in great cities such as: Norfolk, VA, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Diego. From radio imaging voice, to TV station staff announcer, to video game super hero, voiceover veteran Jon St.John has the voice, and studio to do it all!
